I still can’t believe it!

I have written plenty of ramblings since Chona in the City got me hooked to it last year.

Who would think one of those write ups will end up in Crossline, one of the columns in Sunstar Daily’s Weekend Magazine? I hoped it would, but didn’t really have the guts to do anything about it. My blueprettiest friend, Roslyn, did bug me, to the point of giving me the weekend magazine’s email address. I did send but I didn’t hear anything from the magazine.

It turned out that the email address was spammed, and they created a new one. When I sent my article to the new address, the editor himself replied! Knowing how he writes, and the thought that he seems to think that my write up is publishable left me in cloud nine for a few days.

Never mind that it is my last week at work but I have no new company to go to, never mind that i was initially enthusiastic about a job interview only not to hear from them three weeks later, never mind that i don’t have a lovelife! Who cares! My article will be published in a newspaper!

To think it was about a heartbreaking experience! How can anything good come out of it? But true to God’s word, indeed he is able to turn things around for my good, because he loves me and I am called according to his purpose!

Yay!

Welcome to my World!

Hello! Welcome to my beautiful world. It isn’t perfect but, it fits me just right!

Thank you for visiting. I hope that what you read here will somehow touch you and make a difference in your life. I also have a laidback side…hehe! Meet my lovestruck self at http://iceprincess-ramblings.blogspot.com. I am sure you can pick a lesson or two there.

Lastly, life without purpose is meaningless. I found mine in a personal relationship with Jesus. Whichever side of me you will see, you will always meet Him…be it by His teachings, a testimony of what he did to me, or a simple vow of love, devotion and obedience to Him. Afterall, when all is said and done, my living, vibrant and active relationship with Him is what counts!

See ya around!
